One of the main challenges with many of the older ranch-style homes in North Dallas is the size of the master bath.
Since the bedrooms are typically of good size, we try and “steal” some footage from surrounding rooms to enlarge the master bath so it can comfortably house an over-sized tub, separate shower enclosure, dual vanities and a sizable master closet. If possible, we also would raise the ceiling 12 inches to 9 foot to give it a more dramatic look.
